Anytime Fitness - Biggest Loser Challenge - Weeks 7 & 8 Update




I am now officially on the downhill side of the Anytime Fitness – Biggest Loser Challenge!  For Week 7, I lost 1.4 lbs...whoo hoo! 

Sorry for the delay in getting this out there! For some reason I thought I was actually 3 weeks behind...LOL...oh well Week 9 will have to be up before you know it.



During Week 7 I kept to tracking my food & my gym schedule pretty regular.  That particular weekend I went to visit my Aunt. 

I went for several reasons.  I had to get new tires and I wanted to visit with her one on one.  My Aunt and I have always been pretty close & I can talk to her about most anything.  I had been saying since Christmas that I was going to go visit her and copy down my Grandmother's recipes. 

It was a nice little getaway, we visited and talked for hours at a time.  Sunday, when I got home, I was not feeling well at all. I had developed a nasty cough due to weather change and unavoidable allergies. 

During Week 8, I tried to hold off going to the doctor, but nothing over the counter was working.  I took off from the gym this week due to my muscle strain that hadn't healed and the cough didn't help anything.  I just figured my body needed the rest. 

Thursday I went in to see the Doc and he fixed me up.  My cough/sinus infection/asthma is much better this week than last.  But, as with most meds, you trade one problem for another.  I haven't been eating much this week, as nothing tastes good.  My stomach has not particularly liked me anyway.    I did however partake in a bit of Irish feast with some yummy Sheperd's Pie, Cabbage & Cornbread from the little cafe down the road. (No green beer for me, thanks)

I know I have gained a couple of pounds this week & by my scale at home as of this morning it is +3.2lbs.  This is something that can't really be helped considering all of my circumstances going on this week.  I just know that for Week 9 I am feeling better and will be back on track with the eating and such.

I did stop in to see my trainer, Jessi, at Anytime Fitness one evening.  She told me that she is starting a Spring Boot Camp in April.  This I am pretty excited about!  This new boot camp would definitely be motivating working with Jessi twice a week for 8 weeks.  It would also break up the mundaneness of just going to the gym and doing the same ole things by yourself. 

Sooo...it looks as though I will get done with one challenge and move on to the next! 

For every ounce of fat I am losing, I am gaining a ton of confidence!!

    I am so glad to know you are continuing forward. In the past I have seen things like this derail you. Now I see a whole new person!! :)
