Anytime Fitness - Biggest Loser Challenge 2012

I belong to Anytime Fitness and I actually love the one I am going to now.  The manager, Jessi, is awesome and very encouraging!  Each year they have a "Biggest Loser Challenge".  This year it is running right along with the current season's theme "No Excuses", which I love.  Everyone has excuses and you just have to change them slowly but surely.

As of yesterday, 1/23/12, I officially enrolled in my gym's Biggest Loser Challenge 2012!  My starting weight, BMI and all of my measurments are recorded.  It was optional to take a before photo and of course since I am all in, I did.

The name of the game is along the same principles of the Real Biggest Loser - 12 weeks of dedication & hardwork + fitness & nutrition = Success.  At the end the person who loses the highest percentage of body fat is declared the winner takes home the pot of entry fees. 

There are also bi-weekly measurements for prizes such as training sessions, tanning, t-shirts, etc.

So so so excited to see what I can do in 12 weeks to try to win this contest paired with my Weight Watchers nutrition plan!

My plan is to document my journey along the way.  Prior to this challenge I have lost 44.6 lbs in 18 months.  18 lbs of that was with MyFitnessPal and my own attempts from April 2010-April 2011.  26.6 lbs has been with Weight Watchers from April 2011 - October 2011. 

The reason I say it is strictly thru October 2011 is because during the last 3 months of 2011 it was absolutely CRAZY!  Honeymoon, Hunting Season, My Birthday, Thanksgiving, Grandma's Birthday, Christmas, Getting Sick the day after Christmas and New Years...sure glad I survived!!

Let the countdown begin!  Day 2 has gone fairly well so far!
